Breakthrough in Developing Living Passivator for Perovskite Solar Cell Stability

Updated: Oct 6

Our team has developed a groundbreaking living passivator that substantially enhances the stability and efficiency of perovskite solar cells. This work was recently published in Nature, titled “Water- and heat-activated dynamic passivation for perovskite photovoltaics”, which was led by Professor Shien-Ping Feng, Associate Dean in the College of Engineering and Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering at CityUHK in collaboration with Professor Henry J. Snaith at the University of Oxford and Professor Angus Hin-Lap Yip, Associate Director of the Hong Kong Institute for Clean Energy at CityUHK.
